Weed Cellars 2017 Central Coast Pinot Noir awarded a 90-point rating from Tasting Panel Magazine

Weed Cellars’ wines are on a hot streak, consistently receiving ratings of over 90 points from esteemed beverage publications such as Bonfort’s Wine and Spirits Journal and Drink Me Magazine. Continuing this trend, Weed Cellars 2017 Central Coast Pinot Noir was recently awarded a 90-point rating from the most widely-circulated beverage industry guide, Tasting Panel Magazine.

Tasting Panel Publisher, Meridith May, celebrated the wine for its rustic flavors. Her tasting notes on the Pinot read, “Earthy aromas of tobacco leaf pave the way for a savory palate of ripe cherry, tomato leaf, and cinnamon.”

A wine receiving 90 points on Tasting Panel Magazine’s 100-point scale indicates a wine of superior quality and style. Crafted with care, the grapes from which this bottling is made were handpicked to ensure the collection of the best fruit. The wine is made in a style that emphasizes ripe, red fruits while capturing the vibrant acidity of the grape variety.
