4 Fun Cocktails for Mother’s Day Brunch

Mother’s Day is right around the corner, which means it’s time to celebrate the leading lady in your life. Flowers are beautiful and chocolates are sweet, but we all know that what Mom loves the most is quality time with you. So, bring her the full Mother’s Day Brunch experience: cook up your favorites and pair them with fun, fruity Weed Cellars cocktails. Weed Honeycrisp

Servings: 2
Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
4 oz spiced rum
5 oz apple juice
2 oz lemonade
1 tsp superfine sugar
6 oz Prosecco
2 slices of apple
ice

Directions:
In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine spiced rum, apple juice, lemonade and sugar.
Shake vigorously for 15 seconds and strain into two Champagne flutes. Top each with 3 ounces of Prosecco and garnish each with 1 slice of apple.

Weed Sweetheart Mimosas

Servings: 2
Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
6 oz Prosecco
¾ cup fresh squeezed blood orange juice
½ Tbsp orange liqueur
2 ½ Tbsp sugar
2 ½ Tbsp water
2 fresh mint leaves
2 fresh mint sprigs
ice

Directions:
To a small saucepan, add the sugar, water, and mint leaves. Simmer over low heat for 4 minutes. Remove the mint leaves and let cool for 4 minutes.
In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine the mixture above with blood orange juice and orange liqueur.
Shake vigorously for 15 seconds and strain into two Champagne flutes. Top each with 3 ounces of Prosecco and garish each with a mint sprig.


Weed Blush

Servings: 2
Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
4 oz Gin
8 oz Weed Cellars Chenin Blanc & Viognier
4 oz fresh lime juice
½ Tablespoon simple syrup
6 fresh blueberries + 10 blueberries for garnish
6 fresh mint leaves
ice

Directions:
In a cocktail shaker with ice, combine gin, lime juice, simple syrup, 6 blueberries, and mint leaves.
Shake vigorously for 15 seconds and strain into two coup glasses. Garnish each with 5 blueberries.



Weed Earl Grey Bourbon

Servings: 2
Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
8 oz Earl Grey tea, chilled
6 oz Weed Cellars Straight Bourbon Whiskey
4 fresh blackberries + 2 fresh blackberries for garnish
½ Tbsp crème de cassis
ice

Directions:
In a cocktail shaker, muddle 4 blackberries.
Add Weed Cellars Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Earl Grey tea, crème de cassis, and ice.
Shake vigorously for 15 seconds and strain into two coup glasses. Garnish each with a blackberry.
